Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 31, 2026  •  Last updated: July 31, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how the Altra Vita Studio LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects Personal Information through the Website, inquiries, scheduling, purchases, the Portal, virtual sessions, and related communications. Third-party sites and services have their own terms and privacy practices.

2. Information We Collect
  • Identity and contact data: name, email, phone, address, account credentials, and preferred communication method.

  • Transaction data: program selected, invoices, payment status, refunds, and limited payment metadata. Stripe processes full payment-card details; the Business should not intentionally store complete card numbers.

  • Health and coaching data: goals, history, symptoms, lifestyle, intake answers, session notes, uploaded records, lab information, supplement use, and messages you choose to provide.

  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser/device details, referring pages, dates/times, page activity, cookie identifiers, approximate location, and security logs.

  • Marketing and preference data: newsletter choices, survey answers, lead-source information, and consent records.

  • Information from others: authorized family members, referring professionals, laboratories, supplement platforms, and Service Providers, where permitted.

3. How We Use Information
  • Provide, personalize, document, schedule, and support Services; verify identity; communicate; and maintain client accounts.

  • Process payments, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and maintain tax and business records.

  • Protect safety and security; investigate incidents; comply with legal, professional, insurance, and regulatory obligations.

  • Improve the Website and Services, perform de-identified or aggregated analysis, and—with required consent—send marketing.

  • Use Health Information only for legitimate service, safety, operational, and legal purposes described here or otherwise authorized.

4. Cookies and Tracking

The Website may use essential, preference, analytics, and—only if enabled—advertising technologies. The Cookie Policy provides details. Where required, nonessential technologies will not be activated until consent. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control will be honored where legally required and technically supported.

5. How Information Is Disclosed
  • To Service Providers under appropriate contractual and confidentiality restrictions, including Practice Better, Stripe, Zoom, hosting, communications, analytics, laboratories, and supplement platforms.

  • To people you direct or authorize, including caregivers and treating clinicians.

  • For legal compliance, professional regulation, safety, fraud prevention, court orders, insurance, or protection of rights.

  • In a business transaction, subject to lawful safeguards and notice where required.

  • With consent or as otherwise disclosed when information is collected. The Business does not sell Personal Information for money. If advertising or data-sharing practices legally count as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, the Business will provide required choices.

6. Health Privacy and HIPAA

Health Information is sensitive and will be handled with care. HIPAA applies only when the Business is acting as a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. A wellness or coaching business is not automatically covered by HIPAA. If HIPAA applies to a particular service, a separate Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable HIPAA documents will govern protected health information; where this Privacy Policy provides greater protection and is not inconsistent with law, the Business may follow the more protective practice.

7. Retention and Security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for Services, legal and professional obligations, safety, disputes, and legitimate operations, under the retention schedule in Policy 16. No security method is perfect. The Business uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards and will address incidents under applicable law.

8. Your Choices and Requests
  • Access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of information, subject to identity verification and legal exceptions.

  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; withdrawal is prospective and may limit Services.

  • Opt out of promotional email through the unsubscribe link; service and legal messages may continue.

  • Adjust browser/device cookie controls and exercise any state-specific privacy rights that apply.

Submit requests to hello@altravitastudio.com. The Business will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising privacy rights. Authorized-agent requests require proof of authority.

9. Children, International Use, and Changes

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and the Business does not knowingly collect their information without legally valid authorization. Services for minors require prior written approval and guardian consent. The Website is operated from the United States; do not use it where doing so is unlawful. Material changes will be posted with a revised date and additional notice when required.
